9.2.4 It is a fault, during the reception of service, to make a double contact or catch using an overhand finger action
21.1 MINOR MISCONDUCT
Minor misconduct offences are not subject to sactions. It is the first referee's duty to prevent the teams from approaching the sanctioning level.
This is done in two stages:
Stage 1: by issuing a verbal warning through the game captain;
Stage 2: by use of a YELLOW CARD to a team member or the the team through the game captain. This warning in not a sanction but a symbol that the team member (and by extension the team) has reached the sanctioning level for the match. It has no immediate consequences.

Vďaka za pár noviniek, musíme počkať na oficiálne a najmä kompletné znenie všetkých schválených zmien pravidiel – hneď potom tu zverejníme ich preklad do slovenčiny. A musíme počkať aj na rozhodnutie orgánov SVF, odkedy tieto zmeny budú účinné v našich súťažiach (aj keď nič by nemalo brániť ich účinnosti hneď o 1.1.2013).

Ak je niekto nedočkavý a má záujem dozvedieť sa o schválených zmenách pravidiel kongresom v USA viac (zatiaľ len v anglickom jazyku), môže tak urobiť kliknutím na záznam z kongresu – je to síce v angličtine, hneď prvá prezentácia je prednesená prezidentom Komisie pravidiel FIVB A. Steelom a obsahuje prehľad hlavných úprav. Definitívny text však stále nie je k dispozícii (ani v anglickom jazyku)…
